Seen Doug Pitt around this week? Shown him some ‘like’? Virgin Mobile Australia’s ‘Fair Go Bro’ campaign launched on Monday, and in its first week, the campaign website – FairGoBro.com.au received over 50,000 unique visitors, with over 900,000 people viewing the campaign video on YouTube, and more than 9,000 liking Doug on Facebook. We’ve reached over 6,000,000 (!) through Twitter alone, with a new tweet every 30 seconds.

As well as great pick up here including spots on The Project and The Morning Show, and every major news website in Australia, ‘Fair Go Bro’ has certifiably gone viral with stories on The Huffington Post website, Entertainment Tonight, and Mashable in the US, and The Daily Mail, The Telegraph and The Sun websites in the UK. Doug even showed up in Chile’s most influential newspaper – seems the whole world is keen to give Doug a fair go!

Apart from being a fantastic result for Virgin Mobile, this is the first time One Green Bean has led the creative of a campaign running above the line, so it’s great news for us as well.

Stay tuned, folks – there’s a lot more where that came from!
